John Ensor is an ordained evangelical pastor, who for the last 20 years has been a leader in the prolife movement as a speaker, writer, trainer and co-laborer in developing pregnancy help centers as a winsome, life-saving response to abortion.
In May 2011, John became the Executive Director of Global Initiatives for Heartbeat International - introducing and fostering pregnancy help ministries in countries with extremely high abortion rates.
John began this work in Boston where he called upon and guided the Christian community there to work together to establish a network of six ultrasound-equipped pregnancy help centers. In 2006, he joined Heartbeat International as their Executive Director for Urban Initiatives researching the most abortion-plagued neighborhoods of our nation's major cities and working to inspire, train and equip local churches in the establishment of Christ-centered, minority-led, ultrasound-equipped, donor-supported, Pregnancy Help Centers. Those initiatives are ongoing in Miami, LA, and Pittsburgh.
John and his wife, Kristen, have been married 33 years and live in Atlanta, GA, near their three grandchildren.

John is a popular and effective fundraiser in the Pregnancy Help Movement. He served as Founder and President of A Woman's Concern, a network of six pregnancy help medical clinics in Boston from 1992 to 2006. Then he, along with his wife, Kristen, moved to Miami, a city plagued with over 30 abortion businesses. He started Heartbeat of Miami, where two of three projected, ultrasound equipped pregnancy help centers are now operating in Miami's predominantly Black and Latino neighborhoods.
